Chestnut grove

Chestnut Grove is Dee, John Tyler, Zach Winkler, Gary Geers and James Daniels. In 2015 the band released thier self produced album “Perkiomenville” to a sold out hometown crowd at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.


In 2016 the band recorded the EP “Let it Down” with hit Song “Whiskey Hand” with Modest Mouse and Dr. Dog Producer Bill Moriarty by partnering the release with Trevor Kerin, owner of Plug in Rewind. The Band has shared bills and stages with: The Hooters, Turkuaz, Ron Gallo(Toy Soldiers) Cyrille Neville & the R.S.B., Felice Brothers, Ryan Montbleau, Peoples Blues of Richmond, Hoots & Hellmouth, Wild Adriatic etc. while touring the northeast, Virginia and Tennessee from 2015 to 2017. The Band has also Headlined the Trocadero, World Cafe Live and Ardmore Music Hall while continuing to gain momentum in the bands home city of Philadelphia and the Northeastern region of the U.S.

 

In 2018 the band performed live on I Heart Radio’s 104.5 FM Philadelphias Alternative Rock. The bands new EP “Black Champagne” was released May 2018 by Mad Dragon Records. The band has been touring the in support of the new EP; In July 2018 Chestnut Grove joined the Nimbleslick Entertainment Roster. Chestnut Grove is planning on continuing to tour into the Winter of 2018 and has plans to release new music in 2019.
